Biography
Erin Foster is an American actress and writer. Born in Los Angeles in 1982, she began her career with guest roles in television series including Roswell (1999), Gilmore Girls (2000), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000), House (2004) as Dr Petra Gilmar, The O.C. (2003) and Castle (2009). She also appeared in the film Cellular (2004).
Foster later moved into writing and producing. She worked as a staff writer on The New Normal (2012) and, with her sister Sara Foster, created and starred in the VH1 mockumentary series Barely Famous (2015–2016). She created, wrote and executive-produced the Netflix romantic comedy series Nobody Wants This (2024), which draws on elements of her own life.
