Biography
Estanis González (born Estanislao González León) was a Spanish actor and voice artist. He began his career in radio in Barcelona before moving into theatre in the 1940s and film in the mid-1950s. He appeared in supporting roles in cinema and became a frequent presence on Spanish television, particularly in anthology series such as Estudio 1.
His film credits include the role of a civil guard in Víctor Erice’s The Spirit of the Beehive (1973), the doorman in Operation Ogre (1979) and the innkeeper in The Legend of Blood Castle (1973). González also worked extensively as a dubber for foreign films and television productions.
