Biography
Esther Esche is a German actress. She was born on 13 March 1965 in East Berlin and trained at the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst 'Ernst Busch' in Berlin from 1984 to 1988.
She is known for her role as Mrs. König, the hotel manager, in Christian Petzold's film Afire (2023). Earlier credits include the television series Klemperer – Ein Leben in Deutschland (1999) as Sonja Findeisen, appearances in Alarm for Cobra 11: The Motorway Police (1996) and Tatort (2007), and the miniseries Holiday Secrets (2019) as Bettina. Her father was the actor Eberhard Esche.
