Biography
Ethan Cutkosky is an American actor and musician. Born on 19 August 1999 in St. Charles, Illinois, he began his career as a child actor with an uncredited role in the film Fred Claus (2007).
His first credited film role was as Barto in The Unborn (2009). Cutkosky gained recognition for his main role as Carl Gallagher across all eleven seasons of the television series Shameless (2011–2021). He has also appeared in episodes of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2013, 2021) and other projects including Happy Gilmore 2 (2025).
