Biography
Etienne Boussac is a film editor. Born in Colombia, he arrived in Paris in 1985 and studied cinema with a specialisation in editing at the Conservatoire Libre du Cinéma Français. He later worked in a 35mm restoration laboratory before moving to Berlin in 1991.
In Berlin he began at Babelsberg Studios as a sound editor and became first assistant editor on films including The Ogre (1996), Enemy at the Gates (2001), Flightplan (2005), The Ghost Writer (2010) and Inglourious Basterds (2009). As editor his credits include Embrace of the Serpent (2015), The Animal's Wife (2016) and several later features and series for Fox, Netflix and Amazon. He has received multiple editing awards.
