Biography
Eugene Byrd is an American actor born on 28 August 1975 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He began acting as a child, appearing in the 1986 film My Little Girl, and graduated from The Crefeld School in 1993.
Byrd is known for his early film roles including Johnny 'The Kid' Pickett in Jim Jarmusch's Dead Man (1995) and appearances in Sleepers (1996) and 8 Mile (2002). He had the leading role in the independent film Confess (2005), for which he received the Break-Out Performance Award at the 2006 Method Fest Independent Film Festival.
On television, he has had recurring roles as Dr Clark Edison on Bones and guest appearances on series including The Cosby Show, Beverly Hills, 90210, Ghostwriter and Promised Land. He is also credited with voice work in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016).
