Biography
Eva Vives is a Spanish screenwriter, director and producer. Born in Madrid in 1976 and raised in Barcelona, she moved to New York in 1994 to study at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
She co-wrote the screenplay for Raising Victor Vargas (2003) and made her feature directorial debut with All About Nina (2018), which she also wrote and produced. Vives has directed episodes of several television series, including The Handmaid’s Tale (2017), Good Girls (2018), The Affair (2014) and Tell Me Lies (2024).
She is a recipient of multiple Sundance Institute fellowships and has taught directing at the University of Southern California.
