Biography
Evan Richards is an American actor and filmmaker. He began his career as a child performer in theatre, appearing on Broadway in productions including Copperfield and Evita, and in the CBS series Mama Malone.
Richards is known for playing Max Whiteman in the 1986 film Down and Out in Beverly Hills and its 1987 Fox television series adaptation. His other acting credits include Twilight Zone: The Movie (1983), Society (1989), Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures (1990–92) and Mute Witness (1995).
As a writer and director, Richards has made short films including Woman X (shortlisted for a BAFTA) and Cloud Nine, and the feature In a Day (2006), which screened at festivals, won awards and received distribution by IFC Films.
