Biography
Evan Susser is an American comedy writer and television producer. Born on 1 December 1985 in Washington, D.C., he studied film and English at Washington University in St. Louis, where he met his frequent writing partner Van Robichaux. He began his career writing and performing at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Los Angeles.
Susser served as a writer and executive story editor on the final three seasons of the NBC series Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2019–2021), contributing to 14 episodes. He co-wrote the screenplay for the 2017 feature film Fist Fight with Robichaux and Max Greenfield. Other credits include writing segments for Minion Scouts (2019) and Minions & More Volume 1 (2022).
He has also worked as a producer on series such as Killing It (2023) and is a contributor to the podcast Doughboys. Susser married television producer Jamie Rebecca Hanley in 2014.
