Biography
F.J. Pratt is a television comedy writer and producer. He wrote two episodes of Frasier (1996–1997) and served as executive story editor on twenty episodes of the series. His other writing credits include episodes of Blossom (1994–1995), Ellen (1997–1998) and Less Than Perfect (2002–2006).
Pratt completed undergraduate studies in UCLA’s Theatre Arts Program and received an MFA from UCSD. He performed stand-up comedy during and after his studies. He later worked as a writer and producer on series including Sullivan & Son (2012–2014), where he was executive producer and showrunner for three years. He has also taught as an adjunct professor in the John Wells Division of Writing for Screen & Television at USC.
