Biography
Fabrice Ziolkowski is a French-American screenwriter, director, producer and voice director. Born on 28 January 1954 in Charleville-Mézières, France, he studied at the Brooks Institute of Photography and received a BA and MA in film and literature from the University of California, Santa Barbara; he also undertook doctoral work at UCLA. He began his career in the 1980s with experimental film work and has been active since 1980.
Ziolkowski wrote the screenplay for the animated feature The Secret of Kells (2009). He has written for numerous animated television series, including Gawayn (2009–2012) and episodes of Highlander: The Series (1992). He has collaborated on several projects with his spouse, Luli Barzman. Their daughter Marina Ziolkowski is also a filmmaker.
