Biography
Fajar Yuskemal is an Indonesian composer and sound designer. He graduated in music from Universitas Pelita Harapan and began composing for short films, including the award-winning Dara (2007), as well as television.
He is best known for his frequent collaborations with Aria Prayogi. Their scores include The Raid: Redemption (2011), The Raid 2 (2014), Headshot (2016), The Night Comes for Us (2018) and May the Devil Take You (2018). Yuskemal has also contributed to international projects such as V/H/S/2 (2013), Apostle (2018) and episodes of the television series Gangs of London.
His work has received several Indonesian awards, including Piala Citra wins for best sound on Killers (2014) and Headshot (2016), and best original score for Killers.
