Biography
Fanny Herrero is a French television screenwriter. Born on 5 December 1974 in Toulon, she is the daughter of rugby player and coach Daniel Herrero. She studied at the Paris Institute of Political Studies, graduating in 1998, and attended the London School of Economics. She was a member of the French junior volleyball team and worked as a theatre actor from 2000 to 2006 before turning to screenwriting.
In 2007 she co-founded the SAS collective of screenwriters, contributing to series including A French Village and Kaboul Kitchen. She developed and served as showrunner for the first three seasons of Call My Agent! (French title Dix pour cent), which premiered on France 2 in 2015 and was later distributed by Netflix. She later wrote the Netflix miniseries Standing Up (2022) and co-wrote the screenplay for Call My Agent! The Movie (2026). Herrero was also among the writers of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games opening ceremony.
