Biography
Fele Martínez, born Rafael Martínez, is a Spanish actor. He trained at the RESAD drama school in Madrid and began his career in theatre with the group Sex-Peare.
Martínez gained prominence with his debut role as Chema in Alejandro Amenábar’s Thesis (1996), for which he won the Goya Award for Best New Actor. He played Pelayo in Amenábar’s Open Your Eyes (1997) and has appeared in films including Lovers of the Arctic Circle (1998), Bad Education (2004) and Talk to Her (2002), as well as the series Alpha Males (2022).
He has also directed and written short films and received further awards, including an Iris Award for Alpha Males.
