Biography
Fernando Guillén Gallego was a Spanish actor known for his work in film, theatre, television and dubbing. He appeared as Iván in Pedro Almodóvar's Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown (1988) and took supporting roles in other Almodóvar films including Law of Desire (1987) and All About My Mother (1999).
Born in Barcelona, he began his professional career in 1952 with theatrical companies including those of Fernando Fernán Gómez and Conchita Montes. He later formed his own company with actress Gemma Cuervo. Guillén received a Goya Award for best actor for his performance in Don Juan in Hell (1991) and continued working in stage and screen roles until the early 2010s. He died in Madrid in 2013.
