Biography
Fien Troch is a Belgian film director, screenwriter and producer. She graduated from the Sint-Lukas art academy in Brussels in 2000 and has directed several feature films, beginning with Someone Else's Happiness (2005).
Her subsequent features include Unspoken (2008), Kid (2012), Home (2016) and Holly (2023). She directed two episodes of the British series The Responder (2022). For Home she won the Best Director award in the Horizons section at the 73rd Venice International Film Festival.
Troch is the daughter of film editor Ludo Troch and is married to writer and editor Nico Leunen.
