Biography
Fion Mutert is a German actor and cinematographer. Born in 1998 in Berlin, he is known for his role as Sigmund, the son of the baron, in Michael Haneke's The White Ribbon (2009).
He served on the children's jury at the Berlinale in 2012 and the international jury for the Generation section in 2023. Mutert has worked as a cinematographer on several short films and features, including Naked Animals (2020), for which he received a nomination for the German Film Critics Award. He also works as a freelance media pedagogue.
