Biography
Flora Birnbaum is a writer, producer and director. She was a 2017 Sundance New Voices Fellow and created the digital series Cleansed, which she wrote and directed; it premiered at SXSW in 2018.
Her television writing credits include an episode of Russian Doll (2019), three episodes of American Crime Story (2021) and an episode of Tell Me Lies (2026). She has also served as a producer on American Crime Story and as co-executive producer on Tell Me Lies. She received Writers Guild of America nominations for her work on Russian Doll and American Crime Story.
Birnbaum is directing her debut feature film Self Help, starring Kirsten Dunst, which is in pre-production.
