Biography
Florisa Kamara is a British actress born in London on 9 August 2008. She began modelling at the age of five and started acting professionally at six. She trained at ArtsEd drama school in London for five years and obtained a level 8 distinction in LAMDA.
Kamara is known for her roles as Ashley in the BBC television film Sitting in Limbo (2020), Anita (aged 12) in Cruella (2021), Donna Pike in the Sky series Bulletproof (2018–2021), Kioni Marwa in EastEnders (2021–2022), Haley in Prancer: A Christmas Tale (2022), Jasmine Pullman in The Day of the Jackal (2024), and Meena in Silverpoint (2023). In 2024 she won the Best Young Female Actress award (ages 1–18) at the Wolverhampton Film Festival for her leading role in the short film A Sunday in a Vale of Tears and was nominated for Best Female Actress at the Birmingham Film Festival.
