Biography
Franc D'Ambrosio is an American actor and singer. He played Anthony Corleone, the opera-singing son of Michael and Kay Corleone, in Francis Ford Coppola's The Godfather Part III (1990), and performed the film's theme song on the soundtrack.
D'Ambrosio grew up in the Bronx, New York, and trained at the Hartt School of Music and the Vocal Academy of Lucca in Italy. He studied with Luciano Pavarotti and made his Broadway debut in the first revival of Sweeney Todd. He is best known for his long run as the Phantom in Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera, performing the role more than 2,100 times. Other credits include the pre-Broadway tour of Copacabana.
