Biography
Frances Cox was an English actress. Born in Halifax, Yorkshire, on 16 April 1913, she died in Wakefield on 27 August 2002.
She appeared in many British television series, including as Mrs Parslow in Open All Hours (1981–1985), Miss Grace Pullet in Dear Ladies (1983–1984), and Annie Raines in The League of Gentlemen (1999–2000). Other credits include roles in All Creatures Great and Small (1978), As Time Goes By (1992), Coronation Street and Last of the Summer Wine.
