Biography
Francis Weiss Rabkin is a playwright and television writer. They grew up in Chicago and graduated from Wesleyan University in 2008 with a BA in English. Rabkin spent a decade working in New York theatre, co-founding the performance collective Tight Braid Group and receiving fellowships including the New York Theatre Workshop 2050 Fellowship.
Rabkin wrote for the third season of the Apple TV+ series Dickinson (2019), serving as staff writer on ten episodes and co-writing one episode with creator Alena Smith. Their stage work includes the plays Won’t Be a Ghost (2016) and Yay! Synchronicity in the Universe (2013). They are a founding member of the WGA Transgender subcommittee.
