Biography
Francisco Denis is a Venezuelan actor, director and writer. He trained at the Jacques Lecoq International Theatre School in Paris, graduating in 1994, and founded the theatre company Río Teatro Caribe. He has appeared in around twenty films made in Venezuela.
Denis is known for portraying Miguel Rodríguez Orejuela in the Netflix series Narcos (2015–2017). His other television roles include General Miguel Ubarri in Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan (2018), Gardera in The Mallorca Files (2019) and Victor in Diary of a Gigolo (2022). He has also appeared in The Liberator (2013) as Simón Rodríguez and Chilangolandia (2021) as Sotomayor.
