Biography
François du Bois is a French composer, marimbist, professor, columnist and author. He began learning music at the age of eight and turned professional at seventeen. He has performed in both classical and jazz contexts, collaborating with conductors and musicians including Lorin Maazel, Olivier Messiaen, Mstislav Rostropovich, Richard Galliano and Abbey Lincoln.
