Biography
Frank Beddor is an American film producer, former freestyle skier and author. Born on 31 July 1958 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, he was a two-time world champion in freestyle skiing before moving into acting and stunts, including doubling for John Cusack in Better Off Dead (1985).
Beddor produced the 1998 comedy There's Something About Mary, which grossed over $360 million worldwide, and the thriller Wicked (1998), which launched Julia Stiles's career. He later founded Automatic Pictures and turned to writing, creating the Looking Glass Wars young-adult fantasy series, beginning with the 2004 novel of the same name.
