Biography
Frank Jaquet (1885–1958) was an American character actor. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he began performing on stage as a child and later appeared in stock companies, touring productions and on Broadway before making his film debut in the 1934 short War Is a Racket.
Over the following two decades he accumulated more than 140 film and television credits, frequently in uncredited supporting roles as doctors, sheriffs, judges or authority figures. His appearances include Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (1939), D.O.A. (1949) as Dr. Matson, Ace in the Hole (1951) as Smollett, No Way Out (1950) and Rancho Notorious (1952). Jaquet died in Los Angeles.
