Biography
Franziska Arndt is a German actress. She was born on 1 January 1974 in Lübeck and trained at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen, graduating with a diploma in 1999.
She began her career on stage, with early guest engagements at the Düsseldorf Schauspielhaus and Ruhrfestspiele, followed by a fixed engagement at the Nationaltheater Mannheim from 1999. She later held positions at the Theater Augsburg (2007–2009) and worked at theatres including those in Bremen, Lübeck, Nuremberg and Stuttgart. In 2009 she received the Augsburger Theaterpreis.
Arndt has appeared in film and television since 1999, including the role of Bath Nurse in A Dangerous Method (2011), Krankenschwester in Wild (2016) and Betti Stark in episodes of Tatort (2009–2022). She has also featured in numerous German television series and made-for-television films.
