Biography
Fraser Ash is a Canadian film and television producer associated with Rhombus Media. He is a producer of the 2023 feature BlackBerry, which won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Picture in 2024.
His other credits include Possessor (2020), Closet Monster (2015), Disappearance at Clifton Hill (2019), Seven Veils (2023) and The North Water (2021). In 2019, Ash and his producing partner Kevin Krikst received the Kevin Tierney Emerging Producer Award from the Canadian Media Producers Association.
Ash graduated from Queen’s University with a degree in philosophy and a minor in film studies, including a year at the University of Edinburgh. He obtained the Osgoode Certificate in Entertainment Law in 2013 and began working at Rhombus Media in 2010.
