Biography
Fred V. Murphy was an American cinematographer. He served as director of photography on the television series Babylon 5 (1994), credited as Fred V. Murphy II or Frederick V. Murphy II, and on its spin-off Crusade (1999).
His other television credits include episodes of Hunter (1990–1991) and television films such as Babylon 5: The River of Souls (1998). He also worked as a Steadicam operator on the feature film Three O'Clock High (1987). Murphy was born on 14 June 1943 and died on 9 March 2013 in Los Angeles, California.
