Biography
Fred Wolf is an American screenwriter, film director and former television writer. Born in New York City on 7 November 1964, he began his career as a stand-up comedian in Los Angeles before moving into television writing.
He joined the writing staff of Saturday Night Live in 1993, later serving as head writer and appearing as a featured player until 1996. Wolf has written or co-written several feature films, including Black Sheep (1996), Joe Dirt (2001), Grown Ups (2010) and Grown Ups 2 (2013). He has also directed Strange Wilderness (2008) and The House Bunny (2008).
