Biography
Frédéric Fisbach is a French theatre and opera director, actor and filmmaker. Born in Paris in 1966, he trained at the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique. He began directing in the early 1990s and founded the company Ensemble Atopique.
He has directed numerous stage productions, including works by Claudel, Racine, Genet and Hirata, and served as co-director of Le Centquatre in Paris from 2006 to 2009. In 2007 he directed the television film La Pluie des prunes, which was selected for the Venice Film Festival and won the best film prize at the Geneva film festival. Fisbach appeared as Beaubois in Trần Anh Hùng's The Taste of Things (2023).
