Biography
Frederick Muller is a producer, production manager and editor. He began his career as a runner on A Farewell to Arms (1957) and worked as an assistant editor before moving to New York in 1959. There he edited for Dynamic Films, returning to Italy in 1964.
Muller edited several projects for Orson Welles, including The Trial (1962, as Fritz H. Mueller) and Chimes at Midnight (1965). He later moved into production, serving as location manager on The Agony and the Ecstasy (1965) and unit manager on Reflections in a Golden Eye (1967). He formed Eldorado Films and was associate producer on Don't Look Now (1973, as Federico Mueller). In 1977 he and his family relocated to London, where he continued as a production manager and producer on films including High Road to China (1983), The Dirty Dozen: Next Mission (1985), Fatherland (1994) and Tea with Mussolini (1999).
