Biography
Fredric Weiss is a television writer and producer. He wrote stories for three episodes of the sitcom The Golden Girls (1985) and served as co-producer on fifteen episodes of the series. He is also credited as a writer on twenty-four episodes of Mr. Belvedere (1985) and as producer on two episodes of that series.
Weiss wrote for several other American sitcoms of the 1980s, including six episodes of Archie Bunker's Place (1979), one episode of We Got It Made (1983) and two episodes of Charles in Charge (1984). He received a Primetime Emmy nomination for his television work.
