Biography
Fredricka Whitfield is an American journalist and news anchor. She anchors the weekend edition of CNN Newsroom and has worked as a correspondent and fill-in anchor for other CNN programmes. She trained in journalism at Howard University.
Whitfield has made occasional acting appearances. She played a role in the television series Being Mary Jane (2017) and appeared as herself in the film Bugonia (2025). She is married to John Glenn.
