Biography

Freya Mavor is a Scottish actress. She was born on 13 August 1993 in Glasgow and grew up in Edinburgh. She trained with the National Youth Theatre and spent time studying in France.

Mavor made her professional debut as Mini McGuinness in the E4 series Skins (2011–2012). She has since appeared in the BBC miniseries The White Queen (2013) as Elizabeth of York, the HBO series Industry (2020–) as Daria Greenock, and films including The Emperor of Paris (2018), My Policeman (2022) and Rogue Agent (2022).

Her father is playwright James Mavor. Her great-grandfather was the playwright James Bridie.
