Biography
Gabe Sachs is an American television writer and producer. He began his career in the early 1990s creating and directing reality series such as Street Match (1993) and Pranks (1996) for ABC. On the latter he met his long-term writing and producing partner Jeff Judah; the pair subsequently formed Sachs/Judah Productions.
Sachs wrote two episodes of the NBC series Freaks and Geeks (1999–2000) and served as supervising producer on the show. He later co-created and executive-produced Life as We Know It (2004–2005) and the CW reboot 90210 (2008–2013), and co-created the NBC medical drama The Night Shift (2014–2017). With Judah he wrote the screenplays for the feature films Diary of a Wimpy Kid (2010) and Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules (2011), and contributed the story for Magic Camp (2020).
