Biography
Gabriel DeFrancesco is a director and animation artist. He has directed six episodes of the animated series The Simpsons (1989), first credited in season 34 in 2023.
DeFrancesco previously worked on The Simpsons as a character layout artist, storyboard artist and retake director or assistant retake director from the early 2000s. He has also directed the animated shorts Trading Up: Behind the Green Door (2012) and Roman Holiday (2014).
In 2026 he launched the animated series Chow-Fuhn through his production company Company One.
