Biography
Gabriel Llanas is an American television writer and producer. His writing credits include episodes of Grey's Anatomy (2013–2014), where he also worked as story editor and executive story editor, Private Practice (2012–2013), Supergirl (2016–2019), Second Chance (2016), National Treasure: Edge of History (2022–2023), Party of Five (2020), Avatar: The Last Airbender (2024) and The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live (2024). He has also held producer and co-executive producer roles on several of these series.
Llanas began in production staff positions on Private Practice before moving into writing. He wrote the 2008 short film East L.A.. He graduated from Lake Forest Academy in 1996 and from Macalester College with a degree in Spanish literature and a minor in English, later studying screenwriting at the University of Southern California.
