Biography
Gabrielle Allan is a television writer and producer. She wrote ten episodes of the comedy series Scrubs (2001–2007) and held a series of producer roles on the show, from co-producer to co-executive producer. She received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series for her work on Scrubs.
Allan co-wrote the screenplay for the 2011 feature film What's Your Number? with Jennifer Crittenden. She later joined the writing staff of Veep (2012), contributing two episodes and serving as co-executive producer from 2017 to 2019; the series won the Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series in 2017. She is the co-creator, executive producer and writer of the animated series HouseBroken (2021–2023). Allan is married to producer Rob Greenberg.
