Biography
Gabrielle Reidy (23 July 1960 – 13 October 2014) was an Irish actor. Born in Dublin, she began her career as a child performer at the Abbey Theatre and studied at Trinity College Dublin, where she appeared in early productions including the Irish premiere of Samuel Beckett's Footfalls.
Reidy worked extensively in theatre, film and television. Her film credits include Griet's Mother in Girl with a Pearl Earring (2003), Frankie's Mother in The Devil's Own (1997), Frances Cahill in Veronica Guerin (2003) and roles in What Richard Did (2012) and Kelly + Victor (2012). On television she appeared in series such as The Musketeers (2014), Crossing Lines (2013) and Scott & Bailey (2013). She was married to actor Gary Lilburn.
