Biography
Galatéa Bellugi is a French actress. Born in Paris in 1997, she is the daughter of Italian actor Duccio Bellugi-Vannuccini and Danish costume designer Jette Kraghede, and the sister of actress Alba Gaïa Bellugi.
She began her career in the theatre at the age of six, appearing in Ariane Mnouchkine's Le Dernier Caravansérail at the Théâtre du Soleil, where her father was a member of the company. Her screen debut came the following year in Jérôme Bonnell's Les Yeux clairs. After studying dance, synchronised swimming and saxophone, she attended the Université de Montréal for cinema studies and later Roskilde University for international relations.
Bellugi is known for her roles as Mélanie in Keeper (2015), Juliette in Heal the Living (2016), Anna in The Apparition (2018), Violette in The Taste of Things (2023) and Elsa in Junkyard Dog (2023). She has also appeared in Amanda (2022) and Gloria! (2024).
