Biography
Gale Page, also credited as Sally Perkins Rutter, was an American actress. She began her career as a radio singer and actress in Spokane and Chicago before moving to NBC. In 1938 she was signed by Warner Bros and made her film debut in Crime School.
Page appeared in The Amazing Dr. Clitterhouse (1938) and gained notice as Emma Lemp in Four Daughters (1938), the only one of the four sisters not played by a Lane. She reprised the character in Four Wives (1939) and Four Mothers (1941), and co-starred with the Lane sisters in Daughters Courageous (1939). Other films include They Drive by Night (1940) and Knute Rockne, All American (1940). She made around sixteen films in total and later worked in television.
