Biography
Gan Furukawa is a Japanese actor born on 13 September 1944 in Kumamoto Prefecture. He joined the theatre company Gekidan Hachikiza in 1985 and is affiliated with the agency Takarai Project. His career spans film, television and stage, with many appearances in supporting roles as older characters.
Furukawa is known for his performances in Perfect Days (2023) as an old man and Rental Family (2025) as the neighbour old man. Earlier credits include a role in the 1971 television series Kamen Rider and numerous guest appearances in Japanese dramas and tokusatsu productions such as Kaizoku Sentai: Ten Gokaiger (2021).
