Biography
Gareth Heal is a British film and television editor based in London. He began his career in the 1990s at Framestore, where he worked on Christopher Nolan's debut feature Following (1998).
Heal has edited numerous comedy series and documentaries. He cut every episode of the BBC series People Just Do Nothing and its 2021 feature film People Just Do Nothing: Big in Japan. His credits also include Amandaland (2025), Such Brave Girls, The Cleaner, There She Goes and Chewing Gum.
He has received BAFTA and RTS awards for his editing work, including two RTS Craft and Design Awards for Best Editing in Entertainment and Comedy.
