Biography
Gareth Williams is an American actor. He gained his Equity card in 1981 in a production of Little Mary Sunshine at the Burt Reynolds Theatre in Florida and later studied with Uta Hagen at HB Studios in New York for six years. He was a founding member of the Naked Angels Theatre Company.
Williams has appeared in numerous television series, including as Mickey Gosney in Terriers (2010), DEA Supervising Agent Maloney in The Mentalist (2008), Police Chief Warren in True Detective (2014), Tim Harrison in Criminal Minds (2005), Steven Rawlings in Yellowstone (2018), Chief Redding in Mindhunter (2017), Wesley Grovner in Castle (2009), Alan Pollard in Hawaii Five-0 (2010) and roles in Malcolm X (1992) and The Cell (2000).
