Biography
Gary Carr is an English actor, dancer, singer and musician. He was born on 11 December 1986 in London and trained at the National Youth Music Theatre, Arts Educational Schools and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, graduating in 2008.
Carr is known for playing Fidel Best in the BBC series Death in Paradise (2011–2014), C.C. in the American series The Deuce (2017–2019) and Jack Ross in Downton Abbey (2013). His other television credits include Modern Love (2019) as Jeff, The Peripheral (2022) and Genius (2024). Film roles include 21 Bridges (2019) and Bolden (2019). He has also appeared in stage productions at the Royal National Theatre.
