Biography
Gary DeMichele is an American composer and musician. He studied music at Lawrence University in Wisconsin and has worked as a jazz composer, pianist, percussionist and multi-instrumentalist.
He composed the score for the 1996 film Big Night, directed by Campbell Scott and Stanley Tucci, and has collaborated with both on several subsequent projects. His other film scores include The Impostors (1998), The Secret Lives of Dentists (2002) and Off the Map (2003).
DeMichele has also composed for television, including the 2000 production of Hamlet, and for stage works.
