Biography
Gary Lynn Stevens (born 6 March 1963) is an American jockey and actor from Caldwell, Idaho. He turned professional as a jockey in 1979, won multiple Triple Crown races and Breeders’ Cup events, and was inducted into the United States Racing Hall of Fame in 1997.
Stevens is known for his acting roles as George Woolf in the 2003 film Seabiscuit, Ronnie Jenkins in the HBO series Luck (2011–2012), and Augie French in the television series Wildfire (2006). He met his wife, Angela Athayde, on the set of Seabiscuit.
