Biography
Gary Morton (born Morton Gary Goldaper) was an American comedian, actor and producer. He began as a stand-up comedian working hotels and resorts in the Borscht Belt of upstate New York.
Morton appeared in bit parts on The Lucy Show (1962) and other series associated with Lucille Ball, whom he married in 1961. He served as executive producer on Here's Lucy (1968–1974) and co-executive producer on Life with Lucy (1986). His film acting credits include the role of Sherman Hart in Lenny (1974) and Marty Wiener in Postcards from the Edge (1990). Morton died in 1999.
