Biography
Gary Tieche is a writer and producer working primarily in American television. His credits include writing episodes of the Apple TV+ series Sugar (2024), for which he also served as an executive producer.
He created and wrote the Irish series Clean Sweep (2023) and contributed as a writer to Preacher (2016–2019), I Know What You Did Last Summer (2021) and Obliterated (2023). Earlier work includes the screenplay for the feature film The First $20 Million Is Always the Hardest (2002) and creating the medical drama MDs (2002).
Tieche began his career with writing credits on television films such as NightScream (1997) and Tribute (2009), and he has also worked as a cinematographer on several independent features in the 1990s.
